March 5, 2021 marks 100 Days of School for West Elk School District. 100 days of school has always been a noteworthy event in previous years, yet this occasion holds greater significance than those that came before. West Elk has had the capability to accomplish 100 days of face-to-face learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the challenges, it has been a rewarding year for students both academically and athletically. Elementary students and staff celebrated this achievement by dressing up as “100 year olds” while participating in math and art activities centered around the number 100.
